Model of a walking sampler for research of the bottom surface in the subglacial lake Vostok

Technologies and technical means for investigation of subglacial lakes in Antarctic is a new developing scientific direction, which today has no clearly established methodology. Based on the developed technology drilling access well to lake Vostok its penetration as analysis existing methods devices bottom sediment sampling, basic model sampler with walking-type mover, capable moving along different trajectories operating wide technological range, proposed. The proposed device equipped actuators sampling surface physical mechanical properties. presented walking sampler, mathematical was developed, based theoretical mechanics methods. As result conducted research dependencies were obtained, allow making scientifically justified choice optimal values geometric force parameters sampler.
